Page history last edited by Rachel Ashbrook 10 years, 6 months ago

This week is Anti-Bullying Week at school. You will interview someone about the messages being communicated this week. I would also like at least one interview of an administrator and one teacher. Due October 25th.

I signed the banner to stop bullying because I have been bullied myself.
2. Have you ever seen bullying in our school?
Yes, but I think it needs to be stopped.
3. What is your opinion on anti-bullying week?
I feel like it should be longer, like a month or season.
4. Have you ever done anything to stop bulling, or stand up for somebody that has been or being bullied?
I told a boy to stop picking on a younger kid, and helped pick the victim up off the ground.

Administrator; Mr. Foye-
1. Why dud you sign the banner to stop bullying?
I believe in the cause, I stand up for bullying everyday. I tell kids appropriate behavior they should be doing, if they are the person bullying, they will be corrected. No student should be harrassed, picked on, called names or physically hurt. Not only takes me expecting more out of people, it takes everyone to stand up to bullies.
2. Have you ever seen bullying in our school?
I have never seen bullying in our school, I have heard complants, but I have given them there consequences. They have been more aware of how there words can be effected in a negative way.
3. What is your opinion on anti-bullying week?
I think it is great, I like the activities during the week like watching the video, having discussions about the video, signing the banner and recieving bracelets which is making more students aware. The pep rally will tie into bullying and we will start making this week, more into a year.
